keeling curve

The Keeling Curve is a daily record of global atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration.

This record is maintained by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. The graph is based on measurements from Mauna Loa Observatory.

Many scientists agree that carbon dioxide levels should be at 350 ppm to be considered safe.

We are currently over 400 PPM and this number is growing by approximately 2 PPM each year.
