Circles of Sustainability are used in many places around our world in an effort to develop or consider climate adaptation plans.
The method focuses on the four main areas of economics, ecology, politics, and culture, and is used to address complex problems in the context of global climate change, globalization, urbanization, and intensifying social change.
Sustainability assessment projects play an important role in building a better world for future generations on our planet. However, the more complex the problems, the less it seems most assessment methods are useful. Circles of Sustainability provides a way of responding to and overcoming that limitation.
